Job Description

umdasch The Store Makers is strengthening its group-wide process, quality and transformation capability. In this role, you will establish the framework that connects end-to-end processes, Quality Management, digital solutions and measurable operational improvement across our Business Units and sites.

You will work closely with business leaders, Process Owners, operational teams and ISPC. You will have a company-wide mandate and coordinate internal and external support, without disciplinary responsibility.

Your responsibilities

  • Build and continuously develop the USM-wide Business Process Management system, including process architecture, BPMN 2.0 conventions, governance, standards, metadata and lifecycle
  • Establish and enable accountable End-to-End Process Owners and lead priority process transformations across Engineering, Supply Chain and Project Delivery
  • Analyse current processes, interfaces, roles, risks, data and systems, and translate insights into pragmatic target processes, controls, KPI logic and improvement roadmaps
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops, governance decisions and pilots. Align local requirements into sustainable standards or transparent variants, and enable Process Owners and users through practical guidance and training
  • Drive digitalisation, automation, data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled process design, including opportunities in process mining and workflow automation
  • Own and continuously develop the company-wide Quality Management System and ISO certification framework, including audits, management reviews, corrective actions and certification activities
  • Report progress, risks, decisions, resource requirements and measurable benefits to management, and maintain the BPM roadmap
  • Develop the leading process repository and the Signavio set-up for approved process architecture and models, with clear interfaces to ConSense as the Quality Management and controlled-document environment
Qualifications

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in Business Process Management, Operational Excellence, transformation or a comparable senior advisory or leadership role
  • Proven experience with enterprise process architectures, governance models and end-to-end process improvement in an international environment
  • Strong command of process modelling, preferably BPMN 2.0, Process Ownership, KPI design and the management of controlled process variants
  • Experience in project-oriented engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, construction, fit-out or delivery environments
  • Practical understanding of ERP, PLM/PDM, CAD/BIM, CRM, collaboration and document-management systems
  • Experience with BPM platforms, process mining, workflow automation and AI-enabled process work.
  • Proven experience with Quality Management Systems, ISO certification and audit management. A lead-auditor qualification is an advantage
  • A degree or equivalent advanced training in business, engineering, business informatics, process management or a related discipline is an advantage
  • A pragmatic, analytical and fact-based working style with high ownership, delivery focus and strong digital and AI affinity
  • Business-fluent German and English, with willingness to work internationally and travel as required
